Blue Horseshoe Computers offers a wide variety of computer services, including new systems, hardware and software upgrades, on site service and comprehensive virus/spyware removal.

New Computers - Call or e-mail us for a custom quote.  Due to the rapidly changing and volatile prices on computer components, quotes are good for 7 days only, and a deposit of 50% of our wholesale cost of the system (not our profit) is due before the price can be locked in.  Of course, should prices fall, and our cost drops, we will pass the savings on to you.

Upgrades (hardware or software) - Blue Horseshoe Computers charges a flat 20% markup over the actual cost of the component(s).  In addition, we charge a flat $50.00 installation fee for most upgrades.  Operating system upgrades (i.e. upgrading from Windows XP to Vista) and hardware upgrades requiring data transfers will incur additonal costs, and will be priced on a case by case basis.

On-Site Troubleshooting / Virus and Spyware removal - Initial diagnostic fee will be $25.00.  Our standard Hourly rate (in addition to the diagnostic fee) is $50.00 per hour.  Note:  If an internet connection is unavailable, or if the computer issue prevents usable internet access, then our In-Shop rates will apply.

In-Shop Service - Includes all issues that require bringing the PC to our office.  In addition to the Diagnostic and Hourly rates detailed above, a $50.00 surcharge will be imposed.

Network Setup - This service will be billed on a case by case basis, since costs can vary widely due to the range of hardware options available and complexity of the network.

Consulting - Can be billed either at the standard hourly rate or at a flat rate agreed upon up front.

Note:  In all troubleshooting cases, if the PC is not repairable, the maximum charge will be limited to $25.00, not including any data recovery fees.
